A ceremony was held for the topping out of structural steel at the two-building, 1.8 million s/f Chase Financial Services Center. The buildings, which will serve as a global operations center for Chase Manhattan Bank. N.A., are part of the Metro Tech complex being developed by Forest City Ratner, with Lehrer McGovern Bovis, Inc. serving as the construction manager. The architect for the project is Skidmore, Ownings & Merrill. The Office of Irwin Cantor is the structural engineer.
