Burke joins Harrison Leifer DiMarco as senior account manager

According to Harrison Leifer DiMarco, a full-service marketing and public relations agency, Liz Burke has joined the agency's public relations division as senior account manager. Burke will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic public relations initiatives for the agency's diverse and growing client base. Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with the agency's digital communications and social media divisions to deliver more integrated branded marketing solutions for HLD's public relations clients.

A former broadcast journalist, Burke covered general assignment stories for News 12 Networks, where she also worked as a news writer, editor and assignment editor. From 2005-2007, she was a traffic anchor at NBC-4 and CBS-2 reporting on traffic conditions for live television, and conducting radio reports for various stations in the tri-state area. Most recently she was an Account Supervisor for New York City-based DKC Public Relations where she provided strategic public and media relations counsel to clients in the healthcare, non-profit, public safety, and corporate fields.
Burke received her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Education from Ithaca College and earned a Master's Degree in Communications from NY Institute of Technology. She is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award, the Omni Intermedia Award and a Folio Award for a television special profiling a school for students with Down syndrome.
