Demit joins Parsons Brinckerhoff as senior vice president and the director of water practice

Paul Demit has been named a senior vice president and director of the water practice for Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, he is responsible for the growth and development of the firm's North American water business, including water resources management, water supply, distribution, wastewater conveyance and construction management services.
Demit has over 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior executive with CH2M HILL, where he held a number of leadership positions, including leading the firm's water/wastewater design-build business in the eastern U.S. and serving as program manager for a $5 billion wastewater system capital improvement program in Ohio.
He previously held senior management positions with the Boston Water and Sewer Commission and the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority.
Demit is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Federation and a former member of the Board and the Executive Committee of the AWWA.
