D'Agostino joins Grassi & Co. as director

According to Grassi & Co., Anthony D'Agostino, CPA, has joined the firm as a director in the business advisory practice. D'Agostino possesses over 30 years of experience in finance and operations at multi-national companies and has served as both a CFO and COO in several public and private companies. "Tony's broad range of experience makes him a unique addition to Grassi & Co.," said Lou Grassi, CPA, CFE, managing partner, Grassi. "His vast knowledge in audit and management consulting will help Grassi & Co. bring more variety and quality of services to our clients." Most recently, D'Agostino was with Sauvigne & Co., LLP where he was a Senior Audit Manager responsible for mergers and acquisitions and auditing financial statements. While at Sauvigne, he also managed consulting and audit work for their Manufacturing Practice. Prior positions also include the VP of finance & CFO of CPI Aerostructures, Inc., senior VP of finance and CFO of Softeon, Inc., senior VP of finance and CFO of Care Insite Corp, COO and CFO of Todd Products Corp., CFO of Pro Communications, Inc., and senior VP and CFO of Standard Microsystems Corp. D'Agostino specializes in innovative, fast-paced, high growth environments. His experience with technology, manufacturing and software compliance gives him a unique competitive edge. As a CFO, D'Agostino was part of multiple teams that created billions in market valuation and as a consultant was and still is specialized in understanding complex corporations quickly. His background also includes his own Consulting Company, D'Agostino, CPA where his major clients included Quality King Distributing, AboveNet Communications and Stroz Friedberg, Inc. His services included acquisition diligence; assist in assimilation of acquisition target companies, special projects, bankruptcy and forensic investigations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Perfumania. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from St. Johns University in Jamaica, New York. D'Agostino is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
