Don't miss out on this unique opportunity. The first "Canadian-American Commercial Real Estate Conference" will be held September 24-25 in Niagara Falls sponsored by New York State Commercial Association of Realtors, Society of Exchange Counselors, Upstate New York CCIM Chapter, and the Central Canada CCIM Chapter. The event will be co-hosted by Western New York Chapter NYSCAR.

On September 24, Ken Vidar, CCIM, SEC, president, Vidar Companies will present "Creative Solutions." The course carries seven hours New York State c.e. credit. The program will start at 8 a.m. with breakfast, class will follow 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
This course is geared towards real estate professionals in the commercial investment area and residential brokers who want to go beyond conventional buying and selling. Vidar will demonstrate how to turn formulas into real estate, and real estate into dollars. This is the "how to" course using actual transactions to show how to use these formulas to build your own, and/or your clients' estates.
At 5:30 p.m. there will be a CCIM cocktail reception (open to CCIM Chapter members) sponsored by the Upstate New York CCIM Chapter and the Central Canada CCIM Chapter.
On September 25, there will be a day-long marketing/networking session (8 a.m. breakfast, marketing 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) You must hold a valid real estate license to participate in the marketing session. Bring your properties to co-broke. The major benefits of the session include: generation of potential offers, networking and earned commissions.
The session will feature the following segments:
* Cash Board: Presentation of clients having cash seeking to acquire real estate or mortgages.
* Moderated Package Presentations: Formal property presentations will be made with the assistance of experienced moderators assigned to help generate interest and offers on properties for clients wanting to sell or exchange.
* Marketing Presentation Format: Upon registering for the conference, you will be sent instructions as to "how to complete property data forms for marketing presentations." Fill in the information on the marketing forms sent to you, and, bring 75 copies of the form for distribution to marketing attendees. Also, bring an "overhead transparency" of the property to illustrate the property.
* Haves/Wants: This is an opportunity to make a quick (1 or 2 minute) presentation(s) on additional properties or situations you may wish to present as well as availability of "major properties" available for lease.
