According to Winick Realty Group, the firm has closed three recent leases in the borough totaling 3,850 s/f.
HairParty24hr, the award-winning and innovative beauty salon that has many locations in Asia, makes its first North American debut on Madison Ave. The company has signed a long-term lease for a 2,200-s/f space at 76 Madison Ave. (at the intersection of 28th St.), near Madison Sq. Pk.
The space is located at the base of a former commercial building that was converted into a condominium complex by Centaur Properties a few years ago. The asking rent was $160 per s/f.
Lori Shabtai, director of luxury and brand retail, and Monica Kass of Winick Realty Group represented the property owner. The tenant was represented by Young Byunn of Winick Realty, who has just been appointed the exclusive leasing agent of the tenant.
Tumi, the leading international retailer of luxury travel, business and lifestyle accessories, has signed a 10-year lease for a downtown location. The 1,100 s/f Tumi store will be located at 67 Wall St., between Pearl and Hanover Sts.
Darrell Rubens and Angellina DeRichie of Winick Realty Group represented the property owner. The tenant was represented by Beth Rosen of RKF. The asking rent was $350 per s/f.
The firm also recently signedCrumbs Bake Shop, a prototype of the old-time candy shops specializing in cupcakes, for a 550 s/f store at 67 Wall St.
Rubens and DeRichie represented the property owner at this long-term lease at an undisclosed rental. The tenant was represented by Jeff Levy from BCD.
