According to SL Green Realty Corp., Amazon Corporate LLC has expanded at 1350 Avenue of the Americas, increasing its commitment to 92,493 s/f at the 35-story, 585,156 s/f tower located on the corner of West 55th St. The expansion lease covers 24,707 s/f.
"Amazon now occupies three and a half floors," said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green. "We were delighted to assist Amazon in its continuing growth which required the relocation and/or consolidation of six separate spaces."
Justin Halpern and Marcus Reyner of Cresa Partners acted on behalf of the tenant, while Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen represented SL Green.
1350 Avenue of the Americas has recently undergone a capital improvement program that included a new lobby and entrance, upgraded security and new common corridors.
