Horizon Engineering Associates, LLP (HEA), a professional engineering firm specializing in commissioning, energy consulting and LEED services, has hired Daniel Watson, LEED GA as the director of field services. Watson will manage, support and provide direction and leadership to engineers within the N.Y.C. and Long Island offices. His background includes previously serving as senior engineer at HEA and additional roles at other firms such as commissioning manager, building manager and chief engineer. HEA is enthusiastic he will be a natural fit within the company due to his commissioning knowledge and experience.

Watson holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from SUNY Maritime College where he specialized in Marine Engineering.
He has obtained various certifications including: LEED Green Associate, New York City Department of Building High Pressure Steam Stationary Engineer, New York City Fire Department Certificate of Qualification for Refrigeration Systems Operator, New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Fire Safety Director and EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification.
