Meet the USGBC Members: John Maiolo and Richard Wiedersum

John Maiolo is the corporate account executive for Tandus (Metropolitan Area), an environmentally friendly cradle to cradle commercial carpet manufacturer. Maiolo is a LEED AP ID&C and an active USGBC-LI member for three years serving on the Healthcare and Education committees. Maiolo is past president and current program chairperson for the Long Island Chapter of IFMA and a member of CoreNet, Bethpage Soccer Club, coordinator for the Waldbaum's Soccer Cup and a 2009 LIJ Soccer Volunteer of the Year recipient. Richard (Rick) Wiedersum has almost 25 years of design and management experience, a registered architect and LEED AP who continues with the family tradition of providing excellence in the field of planning and design for the firm's diversified clients. Wiedersum has directed the organization through several large building programs with a total construction value of more than $950,000,000. Wiedersum sits on the Board of Directors of USGBC-LI, a graduate of Energeia Class 2010, a member of AIA-LI and National as well as other organizations.
