According to National Realty & Development Corp., (NRDC) CountryMax, a family owned and operated retailer of pet, farm and lawn & garden supplies, has opened a 17,600 s/f space at Geneseo Towne Plaza. Geneseo Towne Plaza is located at 4101 Lakeville Rd.
CountryMax was founded in 1984 and operates 15 stores in Upstate New York. In addition to CountryMax the center is anchored by The Goodwill Store and Grossman's Bargain Outlet.
"CountryMax is a successful upstate New York retailer", said Dovid Spector, director retail leasing at NRDC, "We are impressed with the high quality build-out and quality of its merchandise and we wish them success at the center".
"We are very excited to get our store open in Geneseo and we hope that people will stop in to check out the store," said Don Payne, owner of CountryMax. "We enjoyed working with the planning board and the building code officers during the construction of the store and now we are ready for the people in the area to come and take a look."
