May 21, 2012 - Brokerage
McGuire Development Co., a local development, brokerage and property management firm will begin development of a 15,000 s/f office building on 1.5 acres at 6325 Main St., east of Erie Community College. Construction will begin soon with the facility ready for move-in by December 1. Szymkowiak & Associates, an accounting firm specializing in tax, accounting and business consulting, will occupy 7,200 s/f. McGuire Development received approval from the Amherst Industrial Development Agency recently for an incentive package for the project. McGuire Development purchased the property from the Diocese of Buffalo in 2010. At that time, the Newman Center and a historic 1800s barn occupied the property. In May of 2011, McGuire Development hired Empire Building Diagnostics, Inc. to professionally dismantle the barn for donation to the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village in Amherst. The property provides easy access to all major thoroughfares, as well as the Buffalo/Niagara International Airport, the Transit Road retail corridor, the Village of Williamsville and industry throughout the surrounding communities. McGuire Development provides a full spectrum of transparent real estate services including brokerage, development, redevelopment, property management and owner real estate services/capital projects.
