Robinson of the University of Rochester Medical Center & Strong Health to speak at February 27 BOMA Rochester meeting

BOMA of Greater Rochester will hold a luncheon on Wednesday, February 27 at Mario's Italian Steak House on 2740 Monroe Ave. Registration and networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the program and lunch will start at noon. The event's featured speaker is Peter Robinson, vice president and CEO of the University of Rochester Medical Center & Strong Health. He is responsible for strategic, long-range program and major facility planning for the medical center and its operating divisions including: Marketing, public relations, development, technology transfer, space planning, strategic planning and community affairs. In January 2004, Robinson was appointed the additional responsibility of executive director of government relations for the University. Robinson is a voting member of the New York State Public Health Council, the chairman of the board of High Technology of Rochester, Inc. (HTR) and of Excell Partners, Inc., and serves on the boards of several private and public community agencies. He earned his bachelor's degree from the City College of New York and master degrees from the New School for Social Research and Columbia University. BOMA Rochester will also hold a BOMA & IREM Vendor Fair on Wednesday, March 19. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel. On Wednesday, April 16, a regular BOMA Rochester meeting will take place at Mario's Italian Steak House. Maggie Brooks, Monroe county executive will be the guest speaker.
