Chipotle Mexican Grill to submit plans for new Albany-area restaurant to Colonie Planning Board

The Chipotle Mexican Grill, a Tex-Mex recently submitted plans to the town. The restaurant would be built at the site of a former medical office building on the corner of Troy-Schenectady Rd. and Wade Rd. Extension. T.G.I. Friday's, would also be built on the 2-acre parcel.
The development is being pursued by Windsor Development Group Inc., which will go before the Colonie Planning Board on February 26.
"Windsor Development bought the medical office building a year ago," said David Sussman, president. "The office building is now vacant. The building would be demolished and the restaurants built within six months of getting permission from the town."
