Schmitt joins Partner Engineering and Science, Inc.

Kevin Schmitt, PE, has joined environmental due diligence firm Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. as technical director - Building Sciences, Investment Advisory Group, in the firm's New York office, according to president Joseph Derhake, PE. Schmitt has more than three decades of experience in the building engineering sciences, most recently having spent six years with Marx/Okubo Associates Inc., where he established and managed the firm's Northeast Regional office in Farmington, Conn. Throughout much of his career, both as an outside consultant and an in-house engineer, Schmitt has advised institutional investors on the condition of property in portfolio, or under consideration for acquisition or disposition, from an engineering and seismic perspective. "It is a tremendous achievement for Partner to have one of the nation's leading experts in property condition assessments join our team," said Derhake.
