Gentils, Page and Schade promoted at H2M

H2M, a multi-disciplined engineering and architectural service firm with offices in New York and New Jersey, has promoted Michael Gentils, department manager of Hydrogeology/Geology, Guy Page, R.A., studio director, senior architect, and Philip Schade, P.E., department manager of Environmental Engineering, have all been promoted to the position of vice president at H2M.  Gentils has over 20 years experience in the areas of hydrogeology, groundwater assessment and environmental remediation and has been with H2M since 1988.  As section supervisor of Hydrogeology/Geology Services, Gentils manages large projects involving site characterization and remediation. He is a member of the Association of Groundwater Scientists and Engineers, Long Island Geologists and the National Water Well Association and he is a groundwater professional and is certified with health and safety operations at hazardous waste sites (OSHA).  Page, R.A., a registered architect, joined H2M in 1989 and has over 19 years experience.  Page manages all phases of architectural and planning projects from initial studies through construction administration.  He is a member of Construction Specifications Institute and is a certified asbestos project designer and certified for identification and abatement of lead-based paint hazards. Schade, P.E. is a licensed professional engineer in both N.Y. and N.J. He has over 22 years of experience in environmental engineering and has been with H2M since 1994.  Schade and his staff provide environmental engineering and consulting services to both public and private sector clients, including brownfield site investigation and remediation, property transaction due diligence (Phase I and II site assessments), soil vapor intrusion mitigation, air emission and hazardous waste management, as well as contingency and closure planning. Schade is a member of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers and is OSHA certified for health and safety operations at hazardous waste sites and MTA/LIRR certified for roadway protection training.
