The Feil Organization arranges 164,000 s/f lease for New York Public Library

The Feil Organization has arranged a long-term ground lease with The New York Public Library for the entire building at 31-11 Thomson Ave. in the Long Island City neighborhood. The library is creating an art Library Services Center at the site, bringing together approximately 300 staff members who conduct related work but are currently situated in multiple locations.
The New York Public Library is one of the world's renowned library systems, with a network of four major research libraries and 87 branch libraries in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island, as well as an extensive digital collection available globally through the Internet.
31-11 Thomson Ave. is owned and managed by The Feil Organization, an established real estate firm headquartered in New York City. The company owns and operates a portfolio of over 20 million square feet of retail and commercial space, as well as over 5,000 residential rental units, hundreds of net leased properties and undeveloped land across the country.
David Goldstein, Ira Schuman, and David Carlos of Studley represented the NYPL in the lease transaction, and The Feil Organization represented itself.
