Shopping Centers
NYCRS has negotiated two retail leases totaling 4,200 s/f. The deals include the following:
* NYCRS associate agents, Helen Demetrious and Ina Donath, brokered a lease for a new lounge at 244 East 51st St. The 3,500 s/f lounge, will be opening in the winter of 2012. Karizma, is the second location in N.Y.C. opened by Mohamed Bashir. Kazuza in the East Village has been serving Middle Eastern Cuisine and hookah for over six years. Demetrious and Donath represented, Bashir in this two-story space that will be Kazuza on a much larger scale. The transaction was a key money deal with the prior tenant, who operated the space as a bar.
* NYCRS brings Manhattan it's second Peters since 1969. Peters first Manhattan location is in Hell's Kitchen and it's first is in Williamsburg. Owners Arnon Magal, Melissa Magal and Demetrios Tertipise have opened a location at 677 Lexington Ave. Demetrious and Donath represented the tenants in this 10-year, 700 s/f space. The space was a key money deal and was formerly a falafel store.
