Manhattan-based architectural firm Alan Gaynor + Co. has designed an 8,000 s/f expansion for H-Link OnCall East, a division of American Medical Alert, the remote health monitoring service. The facility is located at 36-36 33rd St. opened for business at the end of October.
The expansion utilized vacant space in the building to make room for additional call center staff and supervisors' offices, as well as a second server room to be connected to a new, larger generator and the executive offices.
"AG + Co. has been an integral part of our evolution in Long Island City for the better part of a decade," said Joe Adam, director of IT at H-Link. "As we've needed to expand our call center space, we've consistently turned to AG + Co., a reputable firm that can really visualize creative ways to get the most use of an office space."
