NYCREW's next industry Spotlight Series will offer an expert, as 2011 CREW Network president Collete English Dixon will discuss "Leveraging Your Connections in Today's Economy" on Tuesday, Feb.y 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. The session will be held at the offices of Crowell & Moring LLP, 590 Madison Ave.
Dixon, is a VP of transactions at Prudential Real Estate Investors in Chicago, where she manages the sale of PREI's investment properties.
She is a past president of CREW Chicago and a past chair of CREW Foundation, making her uniquely qualified to discuss this topic with NYCREW, the New York Chapter of CREW Network, said Karen Dome, 2012 NYCREW president and chairman of the board of directors.
"Collete was a terrific president of our national organization, and epitomizes how your relationships can help your business - and vice versa," said Dome, a senior associate with Marcus & Millichap in Brooklyn, NY. "Her comments on how to best utilize your network to help your career - and to help others do the same - come at a critical time in our industry's ongoing recovery."
CREW Network represents more than 8,000 senior commercial real estate professionals (men and women) around the United States.
The event will be the latest in NYCREW's ongoing educational program. Previous events have included "Global Trends in the 2012 Real Estate Capital Markets," held January 11th; and "Finance: CMBS & Commercial Mortgage Finance" held in November.
