Sabre Real Estate Group LLC, the New York metropolitan area's newest retail real estate brokerage, has arranged a lease for the first Orangetheory Fitness Studio on Long Island.
The lease with landlord Federal Realty Investment Trust, arranged by Sabre managing principal Jayson Siano, is for 3,480 s/f at the Huntington Square Mall, 4000 Jericho Tpke. The studio is expected to open this month.
Siano, the exclusive real estate representative in the New York metropolitan area for Orangetheory Fitness, a franchised chain based in Florida, said the chain plans to open as many as 30 studios in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Orangetheory Fitness offers classes that mix cardiovascular exercises with strength activities.
The East Northport franchise is owned by Chris and Elyse Pederson, who own the Massage Envy and European Wax Center franchises located opposite the Huntington Square Mall.
By locating in the 74,000 s/f Huntington Square Mall, Orangetheory Fitness joins such tenants as Sears, Barnes & Noble, Chili's, Lane Bryant, Chase, Dress Barn, Verizon Wireless, Dots and General Nutrition Center.
