Sabre Real Estate and Breslin Realty Development arrange 19,300 s/f lease for Amvets Thrift Store

January 30, 2012 - Long Island
Sabre Real Estate Group LLC and Breslin Realty Development Corp. have arranged a lease for a new thrift store to be operated by the AMVETS National Service Foundation. The freestanding 19,300 s/f store, formerly used by Furn-a-Kit, opened in January. It is AMVETS first store on Long Island, although the not-for-profit picks up donations in the region. Sales of used clothing, household goods and toys at the store will support the organization veteran's programs. Sabre Real Estate's Beth Lamport and Breslin's Russ Lico represented AMVETS in the deal. Schuckman Realty represented the landlord, Royal Sunrise Realty LLC. Based in Lanham, Md., AMVETS provides support for veterans and the active military in procuring their earned entitlements, as well as community service and legislative reform that enhances the quality of life for this nation's citizens and veterans alike.
