The Realty Foundation of New York to honor Hemmerdinger of Atco Properties and Management

The Realty Foundation of New York will honor Dale Hemmerdinger, president of Atco Properties and Management, at its 2008 luncheon to be held Thursday, May 15 at 12 p.m.in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria. The Foundation, which offers financial aid and scholarships to real estate professionals in need, is honoring Hemmerdinger for his professional and civic contributions to the City of New York.
Hemmerdinger has been an executive vice president of The Realty Foundation for the past 12 years, and a loyal member of the board for over 25 years.
The Realty Foundation was founded in 1954 by a group of passionate real estate professionals that were concerned about the financial risks facing the brokerage community.
The Foundation's membership includes 75 of the real estate community's most prominent members. Chairman Larry Silverstein and president Jerry Cohen lead the foundation's board of directors. Since its inception, the Foundation has disbursed over $2.5 million in financial aid and over $3 million in scholarship awards.
