Saperston Real Estate brokers $1.425 million for 200,914 s/f

Sears Roebuck & Co. has sold their 200,914 s/f regional distribution center at 420 E. Delavan Ave. corner of Fillmore Ave. to Buffalo Engine Components for $1.425 million. The 12.1 acre site adjacent to the Kensington Expressway was built in 1954. Buffalo Engine is a family owned buyer and distributer of used auto parts to corporate clients. Joe Pellitieri, one of the three owners of the company, said he was attracted to the property due to its location, 16 dock doors, 8 drive-in doors, high ceilings and ample parking. "Through our broker, Howard Saperston, Jr., SIOR of Saperston Real Estate, we looked at more than twenty buildings in the past five years attempting to find the right one This is a perfect building for us," said Pellitieri. Dave Schiller and Ben Kirnie of Pyramid Brokerage represented Sears.
