The Tri-State League of Facility Professionals and the Pratt Institute co-hosted the Green Expo on September 22. The event is the first annual expo produced by the Tri-State League. The Green Expo attracted attention to the Tri-State League and the Pratt Institute's emphasis on social consciousness in facilities management and development. The Green Expo aimed to draw attention to sustainable products, services and innovations for the industry. The Green Expo succeeded in generating funds for education in facilities, facilitating communication between Green vendors/service providers, facilities students and professionals and fostering positive relationships among all in the facilities management field. Additionally, the Tri-State League named David Aarons, senior VP of AFD Contract Furniture, Inc., to their board of directors.
