H2M Labs receives ACIL Seal of Excellence Award
November 21, 2011 - Long Island
According to the Washington, DC-based American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL), H2M Labs, Inc. is one of the proud recipients of the nationwide 2011 ACIL Seal of Excellence (SOE) Award and received the award at the ACIL annual meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 11.
The ACIL SOE was developed in 1996 to address the industry's quality issues and recognize those laboratories with exemplary quality performance; the SOE Program also provides laboratory data users with a mechanism to evaluate testing laboratories. Participants commit to ensuring data integrity, meeting customers' quality needs and setting performance standards for the testing laboratory industry. No other evaluation program ranks customer satisfaction with laboratory services and requires laboratory management to commit to a data integrity program.
To become an SOE participant, testing laboratories must distribute satisfaction surveys to customers and maintain proof of an annual ethics training program and an early detection system for questionable analytical practices, and submit a signed code of ethics. Participants in 2011 demonstrated an average timeliness of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0 and an overall customer satisfaction score of 3.7 out of a possible 4.0.
H2M Labs, Inc. was recognized for having demonstrated commitment to quality and customer service and was the recipient of two special recognition awards for timeliness and overall customer satisfaction, based on client survey responses.
H2M Labs, Inc. is an employee-owned, full-service environmental testing laboratory, offering a wide range of routine and specialized testing programs. Established in 1957, H2M Labs is proud to have met the highest standards of quality, compliance, ethics, and customer service for over five decades.
