Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has arranged the sale of 3080 37th St., a six-unit apartment building, according to John Horowitz, regional manager of the firm's Brooklyn office. The asset sold for $1.17 million. Matthew Fotis and Lazarus Apostolidis, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Manhattan office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer was also secured and represented by Apostolidis and Fotis. "The demand for multifamily assets in Astoria far outweighs supply." said Fotis. "After only two weeks of marketing the property we were able to generate close to twenty offers in writing and generate a buyer using funds from overseas to purchase the property on an all cash basis with no bank involvement," said Apostolidis.
