Richard Cohen, president of Ashlind Properties has leased 75,000 s/f to Aladdin Packaging, a high-quality flexographic printer and leader in the packaging industry since 1970. They are moving to a new location within the Hauppauge industrial park. Growing at a rapid speed, the company doubled it's square footage when purchasing 115 Engineers Rd. in the 3rd quarter.
"It's a perfect building to suit their use going from cardboard manufacturer to plastic manufacturer," Cohen said of the property, which was built in 1970 and has offices, 20-foot ceilings and multiple loading docks. Until earlier this year, the property was home to Rock Tenn the successor of Southern Container.
Cohen represented both the buyer and the principals of Southern Container.
