The Kaufman Org. has brokered a 12,000 s/f sublease at 149 Fifth Ave. for TargetSpot. The digital audio advertising firm experienced rapid growth over the past few years and wanted to move quickly into a space. The Kaufman Org. negotiated an office space, inclusive of furniture and office amenities.
Grant Greenspan and Michael Kaufman of the Kaufman Org. represented the tenant, while Joe McLaughlin of Capstone Realty represented the sub-landlord Vendome Group.
"TargetSpot has grown tremendously over the past couple of years and needed a space that was built out and ready to move into. To maximize TargetSpot's objective, we determined that the unit at 149 Fifth Ave. would not create any downtime in their business," said Kaufman, partner of the Kaufman Org.
149 Fifth Ave. is a 16-story building built in 1918, located between Fifth Ave. and Broadway in the Flatiron District. The building features an additional entrance on 21st St., UPS drop-off and 24/7 security. Office tenants include Sound Lounge, Future Networks USA and Ann Taylor, Inc.
The Kaufman Org., with 100 years experience and 5.2 million s/f of owned or managed space, has long been considered one of the most prominent and well-respected real estate companies in the New York metropolitan area. The company offers a fully integrated spectrum of leasing and management services to diverse owners and tenants and is continually looking to build its portfolio through property acquisitions.
