Posy and Farmakis promoted to corporate managing directors at Studley

According to international commercial real estate services firm Studley, Daniel Posy and Nicholas Farmakis have been promoted to corporate managing directors.
Posy, who specializes in representing boutique financial firms, media companies and law firms, has helped consummate over 600,000 s/f of leasing transactions since joining Studley in 2003. Posy, who was formerly a managing director of Studley, began his real estate career at Insignia/ESG, where he received the "Rookie of the Year" award in 2000.
A graduate of Queens College, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, he is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York and has participated in the REBNY Emergency Relief Program to revitalize business in downtown Manhattan.
After joining the firm out of college in 1999 to provide expanded market research and business development capabilities, Mr. Farmakis, a principal of Studley, has built up an active practice servicing tenants primarily within the fields of finance, advertising/marketing, legal and technology. Over the years he has been involved in leasing transactions throughout all submarkets of Manhattan and has developed a deep base of market knowledge relied upon by partners throughout the firm.
Farmakis was formerly a managing director in the company's local office.
Farmakis is a graduate of Boston University's School of Management and New York City native.
