Brio USA to move to 14,700 s/f facility

September 26, 2011 - Brokerage
Brio USA Inc. with the help of Tom Lockwod - Charwood Reality is moving into a 14,700 s/f manufacturing/distribution facility. After unsuccessfully trying to negotiate for space without the help of a professional realtor, Kevin O'Connor, Brio's president commented that Lockwod's professionalism and knowledge of the Rochester commercial market made it possible to find the appropriate space and get back on schedule for an October 1 move-in date. Brio USA Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of RMD Industries Pty Ltd a Melbourne, Australia-based company. Brio entered the U.S. market in 2008 selling through distribution, supplying product from its manufacturing facilities in Sydney, Australia and Newcastle Upton Tyne, UK. With the opening of the Rochester location products will now be manufactured in the United States. Brio is a world leading supplier of architectural hardware for sliding and folding doors and accessories and sells to leading door and window manufacturers throughout North and South America. The opening of this facility was planned to facilitate the launch of our newest Product lines - Brio Weatherfold Summit and the integrated Brio 612 Retractable Pleated Insect Screen a folding door system that allows for door opening of up to 16 panels and 63' wide and over 13' tall to be used in residential and light commercial applications. This folding door system can be used to replace large sliding patio doors that limit the amount of open space and can be difficult to operate as the units get heavier. Architects and designers now have the ability to design spaces that incorporate outdoor living into the interior space. Visit www.briousa.com.
