Franson joins H2M's Planning Division in New City

Bonnie Franson, AICP, has joined the H2M Planning Division. She comes to H2M with experience in the environmental and municipal planning field spanning over two decades.
She is a consultant for several towns in the Hudson Valley Region including the towns of Marbletown, Shawangunk, Pine Plains, Gallatin and Tuxedo and she has worked with many clients throughout Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess, Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties.
Previous to joining H2M, she was the director of planning at Tim Miller Associates, Inc.
"I look forward to representing H2M in the Hudson River Valley Region and working with so many talented professionals," said Franson.
As a planner, she is well-versed in assisting municipalities and private clients in the land use application and SEQRA review process. She provides representation at municipal meetings and has extensive experience preparing comprehensive plans, municipal zoning and environmental regulations, land use, visual resource, community facility and fiscal analyses and environmental impact statements.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association, and has received a certification from the NCI Charette Institute.
Franson has a Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She gives back to the planning community by teaching Rockland County Municipal Planning Federation introductory courses.
