Faith Hope Consolo, chairman of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, will offer insights and predictions on the "Battlefield New York: Overpriced, Picked Over, Over & Out" panel at GreenPearl's "Beyond Distress" Conference, Thursday, September 22nd, from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m., at the McGraw Hill Conference Center, 1221 Avenue of the Americas (49th St.)
Addressing an audience anticipated to be made up, primarily, of investors, developers and bankers, the panel will identify opportunities for investment in the country's most robust real estate landscape and clarify possible hazards in the current climate.
"The title of the panel actually sounds a little daunting, but with this group there should be groundbreaking dialogue," said Consolo. "GreenPearl's conferences bring a lot to the table and 'Beyond Distress' is an apt concept because collectively we are getting past an economic malaise in the city."
Joining Consolo on the panel are Norman Sturner, president and CEO, Murray Hill Properties, LLC; Eric Anton, executive managing director, Eastern Consolidated; Jeffrey Schwartz, partner, Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz, LLP; and Winston Fisher, partner, Fisher Brothers. The moderator will be Jeffrey Lenobel, partner, Schulte Roth & Zabel.
More than 550 professionals attended the 2010 Distressed Real Estate Summit in October. This year, more than 600 attendees with interests in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic real estate markets are expected, according to GreenPearl.
