Jones Lang LaSalle has completed the interior build-out of British Airways new offices on the 11th floor at 2 Park Ave. The airline leased 46,198 s/f at the landmark 964,000 s/f office building in early 2011.
The company's project and development services group was tapped in March 2011 by British Airways to serve as project manager for the build-out of their new offices at 2 Park Ave. The project team established an aggressive schedule to ensure that the interiors work was completed in time for the airline's relocation to the building from its previous space at the Bulova Building in Jackson Heights, Queens. The PDS group worked closely with Aragon Construction and architectural firm Gensler to ensure the timely completion of the work.
The Jones Lang LaSalle project team was led by Randy Apfelbaum, vice president, and includes Greg Lindsay, senior project manager, Adriana Djokovic, senior project manager, and Tucker Schenk, associate project manager, all with the company's New York office.
"Despite an aggressive schedule and heavy technology requirements, the project was completed on time and within budget," said Apfelbaum. "it is a testament to a successful partnership between the team members and a client that is knowledgeable and able to clearly define their needs, goals and success criteria."
