Lively and Maddigan of Massey Knakal broker $7.25 million multifamily sale

Two multifamily buildings at 278-284 South 2nd St., located between Havemeyer St. and Marcy Ave. in Williamsburg, were sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $7.25 million. The five-story buildings are each 21,750 s/f and have 22 residential units. Nearly all 44 units are three-bedroom box layouts. There are currently no vacancies in either building. "It is rare to see two adjoining buildings of this size for sale in the area. We received a great deal of interest in the buildings and found a buyer whose price, terms and closing timeline suited the seller's needs completely," said Massey Knakal VP of sales Mark Lively who exclusively handled this transaction with director of sales Brendan Maddigan.
