First job in real estate or allied field: Elected town supervisor in November, 2009 What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? Yorktown is a town of 36,000 people located in northern Westchester. An annual budget of $50 million provides an array of services, including public water and sewer, police, snow removal, garbage collection, fire protection, park facilities, recreation programs for all age groups, a library, senior services and more. Hobbies: Attending the opera and knitting Favorite book: When I have the time, getting through The New York Times Favorite movie: Films from the 1930s and 1940s Person you admire most (outside of family): Elected officials who have the courage to lead and vote for what they know is right, even if that means voting against what is popular in the short term. Key to success: Doing the best job one is capable of doing, and always trying to do more If you had to choose another vocation what would it be? At age 71, I anticipate that being Town Supervisor may be my last "profession." I am currently running for a second two-year term.
