Sholom & Zuckerbrot Realty (S&Z) has negotiated a 20-year retail lease for a Dallas BBQ restaurant at 61-35 Junction Blvd. in the Rego Park neighborhood of the borough, according to Frank Zuckerbrot, president of S&Z.
"I've worked selectively with Dallas BBQ over the past decade, and was excited to help them bring their brand to Queens," says Marc Durst, who negotiated the deal for S&Z, along with Doug Weinstein.
"For over two years we focused on securing just the right location for Dallas BBQ in the Rego Park/Elmhurst market, and it feels great to watch our efforts come to fruition. Located within a major new big-box retail development with ample parking, directly off the Long Island Expressway, and accessible via several subway and bus lines, this is the perfect location for such a fun and tasty restaurant," said Durst.
Dallas BBQ's neighbors in its new, 10,500 s/f space include Kohl's, Costco, Marshalls, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sears, Toys 'R Us, Century 21 Department Store, Old Navy, and many more. The location is a short distance from Queens Boulevard, one of the borough's major retail corridors.
Durst represented the tenant in this transaction, while the landlord, Vornado Realty Trust, was represented by Ripco Real Estate.
