VHB is pleased to welcome Susan Bianchetti, CPG, as senior project manager, oil & hazardous materials. Bianchetti is well-known for her work assisting cities and state agencies with environmental site investigations and remediation projects. At VHB, she will work to enhance the firm's existing OHM practice throughout the state and continue to help clients resolve challenges efficiently.
Bianchetti brings 25 years of professional experience to VHB, including an in depth understanding of New York City Agencies. She has an extensive background in design, management, costing, and implementation of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Environmental Site Investigations (ESIs), and remedial investigations/feasibility studies.
"Our clients will greatly benefit from Sue's deep knowledge, industry relationships, and experience working with New York City Agencies as we continue to expand our OHM practice," said Theresa Elkowitz, principal at VHB.
A resident of Huntington, N.Y., Bianchetti is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists, the National Groundwater Association, Professional Women in Construction, and the Long Island Green Building Council. She holds a master's degree in Aqueous Geochemistry from State University of Stony Brook (SUNY) and a bachelor's degree in Geology from Boston College.
