Senenman joins Edens & Avant as senior vice president, investments

According to Edens & Avant, Ed Senenman has been hired as senior vice president, investments. Senenman will be located in Edens & Avant's new local office as the company continues to expand its presence in the New York metro area as part of its overall strategy of focusing on retail investments in major East Coast markets. At Edens & Avant, Senenman's primary responsibilities will include the oversight of strategic portfolio acquisitions as well as one-off transactions particularly in the New York Metro area. "As we continue to target retail investment opportunities, we are extremely pleased to have someone of Ed's caliber lead our charge into the New York market," said Jodie McLean, president of Edens & Avant. "This is an exciting time for the Company as we continue to expand our portfolio in major east coast markets." Prior to joining Edens & Avant, Senenman was senior director of acquisitions at Federal Realty and previously served as vice president of acquisitions for Kimco Realty Corp. Senenman received both an MBA in Finance and BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and has more than 20 years of experience in all facets of retail property acquisitions, property valuations, asset management, and development.
