Houlihan of Houlihan & O'Malley brokers 3,100 s/f restaurant lease; Reps Montag Rockets; landlord is Urstadt Biddle

Johnny Rockets has opened a new 3,010 s/f location, with 89 seats, formerly housing a Friendly's Restaurant, is located in the Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc.-owned The Shoppes@Eastchester strip mall. Opened on June 1 under a ten-year lease agreement with two to five-year options, the Johnny Rockets at 777 White Plains Rd. is owned and operated by Montag Rockets, a mixed entertainment and hospitality franchise group that also owns the brand's Mt. Kisco location. Gerry Houlihan, a broker at Houlihan & O'Malley Real Estate Services, specializing in food service and commercial transactions, represented Montag Rockets. Houlihan said, "The Shoppes@Eastchester, with its prime location on Rte. 22, central address, street visibility, and ample parking, offered a perfect location for a Johnny Rockets in Westchester. I am confident that Montag Rockets has found an ideal home for its business, and will benefit from market demand for quality family-friendly restaurant options." Daniel Weisse heads the 40-person staff as director of operations. Weisse said, "Montag Rockets believes in the Johnny Rockets brand, and its ability to resonate with patrons in the area.
