June 13, 2011 - Brokerage
Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP provided legal representation to investment advisory Fred Alger Management, Inc. in connection with a ten-year, two-floor sublease from publisher Reed Elsevier for 45,000 s/f of office space at 360 Park Ave. South. Stroock real estate partner Jacob Bart represented Fred Alger Management. Benjamin Randall of Chicago-based Randall & Kenig LLP represented Reed Elsevier. "The deal provided an ideal solution for both parties," said Bart. "Fred Alger was seeking a sizeable amount of class A space in a favorable midtown location near its current office while Reed Elsevier had surplus space to sublease in a large building the firm net leases." Alexander Chudnoff of Jones Lang La Salle provided broker representation for Fred Alger Management along with Douglas Dolgoff and Haley Klein of Cushman & Wakefield, while Reed Elsevier was represented by Kevin Daly and Clark Finney of Cushman & Wakefield.
