Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce names 13 winners of 2011 BBAs

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce named the 13 winners of the 2011 Building Brooklyn Awards (BBA). On July 14, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, 30 Lafayette Ave., the chamber will honor the following projects: 184 Kent Ave., Adaptive Reuse; Newton Creek, Civic and Institutional; Pratt Institute- Myrtle Hall, Education; Erasmus Hall High School, Historic Preservation; Brooklyn Brewery, Industrial; 28 Old Fulton St., Interior Renovation; Brooklyn Ecopolis, Mixed-use; Phoenix Beverages, National Grid Award for Energy Efficiency; Brooklyn Bridge Park, Open Space; Wyckoff Exchange, Retail; The Domenech, Residential: Affordable; Clinton Rising, Residential: Low Rise; and Mason Fisk, Residential: Multifamily.
In addition to recognizing these 13 projects, the chamber will honor Jed Walentas principal, Two Trees Management Co. LLC, and Deb Howard, executive director, Pratt Area Community Council.
