architect's LOFT Paul Pellicani, R.A., A.I.A., founder of architect's LOFT, is a licensed and registered, award-winning architect who has been creating innovative spaces for more than twenty years. In addition to his work as an architect, Pellicani is an educator and an artist.
Recognized by the American Institute of Architects, Pellicani received recognition as a recipient of the Annual Educator's Award - one of the industry's most prestigious accolades. He has penned several articles on home improvement for publications including North Shore Home Improver, in addition to speaking before major audiences at events such as the Suffolk County Home Improvement Show and the Long Island Real Estate Investor's Association.
Pellicani has also been featured as an expert in his field in important media, including The New York Times Real Estate section, Newsday and on WOR's "The Home Show" talk radio program. And several of Paul's projects were featured in an episode of the hit television series, "Law & Order".
As an educator, Pellicani has been successfully teaching the courses he developed, "Ask the Architect" and "Create Your Dream Home" as part of continuing education programs throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties for the past several years. Through these invaluable classes, Pellicani enlightens and informs literally hundreds of interested consumers with the range of concepts necessary to ensure a smooth and successful experience in home building or remodeling - from design development to budgeting costs.
As an artist, Pellicani works to further the concept of infusing architecture with an artistic sensibility. A member of The Artist's Group on Long Island, Paul's original drawing was selected in the competition, Art in Architecture, which called for new works inspired by some of the areas most interesting, historic properties. In addition, Paul will be a featured artist in "Art Under Glass," a unique display of art installations at the Tilles Center's new glass atrium space with a piece entitled, "Symphony In Space."
Pellicani is a lifelong resident of Long Island, New York and takes great pride in his community as an active member of industry organizations and professional associations including the American Institute of Architects, International Building Code Council and various Chambers of Commerce.
