One Brooklyn Bridge Park adds second eco-friendly amenity: Enviowash

One Brooklyn Bridge Park has added another amenity to its roster. This is the second eco-friendly offering for residents of this building. The waterfront development, located at 360 Furman St., has teamed up with Enviowash, a mobile waterless vehicle cleaning company, to provide its residents with discounts and free services. Residents can now take advantage of a 15% discount on all Enviowash services. In addition, residents who purchase a parking space at the property will receive a free monthly year of all the services provided by this environmental car wash company, subject to certain contract conditions. "Our goal is to provide our home owners with as many conveniences as possible," said managing agent Ian Levine, president of Spandrel Property Services, Inc. a member of The Spandrel Group, LLC. "We believe that having the ability to get a car "washed" without actually going to a car wash is an extremely useful amenity for busy New Yorkers. Our residents can save time, and with this partnership, save their money too." Enviowash contains a polymer compound, which lifts the dirt from the surface of the paint and encapsulates it in a lubricating film. The dirt is then removed with a soft specially designed cloth - all without a scratch and without water. Since no water is used, there is no mess or residue and hundreds of thousands of gallons of water a year is saved. "We are committed to bringing eco-friendly amenities to the building," said Levine. One Brooklyn Bridge Park already has two onsite Zipcars for residents, one of which is a hybrid.
