Rose and Spiegel of Rose Associates lease 24,300 s/f

According to Rose Associates, Inc., Gracious Home has leased 24,300 s/f of retail space at Chelsea Landmark, a new 38-story, 406-unit rental building located on the east side of Avenue of the Americas between 25th and 26th Sts. Amy Rose, executive senior managing director of Rose Associates, and Bruce Spiegel, senior managing director of commercial leasing for Rose Associates, represented Gracious Home and the building owners. Rose Associates' William Bergman was also instrumental in arranging the lease. Gracious Home has signed a 20-year term, taking all of Chelsea Landmark's retail space, which includes 17,000 s/f of street-level retail space and roughly 7,300 s/f of lower-level retail space. The street-level portion boasts floor-to-ceiling glass along the eastern block front of Sixth Ave. between West 25th and West 26th Streets. The space also offers has wraparound frontage on West 25th and West 26th Streets. A joint development of Rose Associates and Marine Estates, Chelsea Landmark is a 38-story residential building designed by Costas Kondylis & Partners. Occupancy of Chelsea Landmark's studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments began earlier this year.
