As president of her consulting business, Green Project Solutions, Debra Hoolahan is a research consultant for the Advanced Energy Center (AERTC), on a NY-statewide Green Jobs Research Project and has recently co-written a training grant for SBU/Advanced Energy Training Institute with the USGBC-LI Chapter. Previously a project manager in the international division of a prominent LI Vitamin Manufacturer, she has recently transitioned her skills to the cleantech industry. A NYS- licensed chiropractor since 1992, Dr. Hoolahan is mostly retired from active practice, providing intermittent services for selected colleagues.
Joe Rocco, LEED AP, is the assistant vice president of Applied Energy Group, a utility consulting firm in Islandia, N.Y. With a masters in Architecture from Tulane University, Rocco's expertise focuses on high performance energy efficient green buildings. Rocco currently serves as the chairman of the Green Incentives Committee for the Long Island Chapter of the USGBC. He is certified as an energy manager, a lighting efficiency professional and is a member of the AIA.
