Pierson named chief operating officer at PB

PB has named George Pierson chief operating officer of the firm's Americas operations, effective January 2, 2008. Pierson, who joined PB in February, 2006 as general counsel and secretary, will be responsible for the firm's operation in North and South America. He will oversee the efforts of over 5,000 PB employees on hundreds of active projects, including the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge outside Washington D.C.
