Wang of KRW named Senior Man of the Year by YM/WREA; presented by YM/WREA chairman Weiss

Kevin Wang, owner of KRW Realty Advisors, has been awarded the Senior Man of the Year Award by the Young Men and Women's Real Estate Association of New York (YM/WREA) for 2010. The award was presented by Glen Weiss., 2010 chairman of YM/WREA at the organization's December luncheon at the University Club. The Senior Man of the Year is chosen by YM/WREA's board of governors based on their evaluation of the member's integrity, professional ethics, knowledge, and accomplishments in the field of real estate. Previous winners of the award include Lewis Rudin, Asher Bernstein, Stephen Siegel and Jerome Cohen. Wang started his company over a decade ago and has been an active owner, developer, and joint venture partner involved in many of the city's prized properties. Prior to beginning his own company, Wang worked with The Mendik Co., and was responsible for leasing one of the largest portfolios of class A office buildings in the city. He began his career in real estate at Cross & Brown Co., where he specialized in landlord and tenant representation, and was named VP at age 24. Wang holds many industry accomplishments and awards including past chairman of the YM/WREA of New York, recipient of the YM/WREA of New York's "Young Man of the Year" Award, New York chapter president of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, co-chairman of Real Estate Board of New York's International seminar committee, board of governor on the Real Estate Board of New York, and chairman of the general meetings committee of the Real Estate Board of New York. Wang is a graduate of Cornell University and is an active lecturer at the NYU Real Estate Institute, and a participant in the NYU Real Estate Roundtable and the Cornell University Real Estate Council.
