Eastdil Secured's Harmon brokers $1.8 billion sale of 111 Eighth Avenue; Siegel, Stacom and Shanhan of CBRE represented Google

Google has signed a $1.8 billion deal to purchase the 2.9 million s/f 111 Eighth Ave. from owners New York State Common Retirement Fund, Jamestown, and Taconic Investment Partners, according to a report from the New York Times. The company's 550,000 s/f east coast headquarters is currently housed in the building.
Douglas Harmon of Eastdil Secured was the the listing broker of the 18-story Chelsea property. Steve Siegel, Darcy Stacom and Bill Shanahan of CB Richard Ellis represented Google.
