Meet the ICSC Members: Willing Biddle and James Aries

Willing Biddle has been president and COO of Urstadt Biddle Properties since December 1996. Previously, he served as executive vice president from March 1996 to December 1996, senior vice president - management from June 1995 to March 1996 and vice president - retail from April 1993 to June 1995. Biddle also serves as an advisory director of the Putnam Trust Co. James Aries joined Urstadt Biddle Properties in 2001 as a vice president of leasing and acquisitions and became its senior vice president / director of acquisitions in 2008. Aries began his career as a director of real estate for The Melville Corp., one of the largest retailers in the country. Subsequently, he held senior leasing positions with Bryant Development Corp. in Purchase, N.Y. and Kin Properties Inc. in White Plains, N.Y. He received his B.A. from Tufts University in Medford, Mass. and his J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York, N.Y. Aries is on the Planning Committee of the N.Y. International Council of Shopping Centers and is a member of the N.Y. State Bar Association.
