November 19, 2010 - Brokerage
Colliers International has arranged a long-term, 20,000 s/f renewal at 122 West 27th St. on behalf of the landlord, The Joseph Rosen Foundation, Inc. The executive offices of Greenwich House will continue operating out of the entire third and sixth floors. "The Upper Chelsea neighborhood has undergone a major transformation over the past decade," said Perry Mesmer, senior managing director with Colliers International, who leads the building's leasing efforts. "Greenwich House brought its executive team to 122 West 27th St. about the time the transformation began and has been a tremendous anchor tenant ever since. We are thrilled they decided to extend their prominent role in the neighborhood's transformation." Located one block from the Fashion Institute of Technology, the former manufacturing building has become a destination for an eclectic mix of tenants, including CoreBrand, Howell Belanger Castelli Architects and Sonic Boom Inc., among others. Marc Ellman, of Ellman Realty Advisors, represented Greenwich House.
